Seriously injured at the ankle during Paris Saint-Germain’s defeat against Bayern Munich in the Champions League (1-2) three weeks ago, Achraf Hakimi continues his daily battle to return in time for the Africa Cup of Nations 2025. The Moroccan full-back, determined to defend the colors of the Atlas Lions, has embarked on a real race against time.
This Thursday, December 4, Hakimi returned to the pitch at Camp des Loges. PSG released several videos showing the Moroccan international engaged in individual training: progressive runs, changes of direction, reconditioning exercises… Encouraging signs that reflect his determination to come back as quickly as possible.
With less than three weeks until the start of the CAN (December 21, 2025 – January 18, 2026), uncertainty remains regarding his availability for the first match. However, resuming training on the field is an important step in his recovery process. Hakimi, true to his mindset, is doing everything possible to be ready to defend Morocco’s colors at the major continental event.
