Gessime Yassine is having a particularly remarkable start to the season with RC Strasbourg. After five matchdays in Ligue 1, the Moroccan international occupies the top spot in the league for successful dribbles, confirming his growing influence in the Alsatian offensive sector.
The young winger, 20 years old, has already totaled 18 successful dribbles in five appearances, which is eight more than his closest challengers, Désiré Doué and Lamine Sy, who each have ten. This statistic perfectly illustrates the Moroccan’s ability to provoke and eliminate his opponents in duels.
His impact is not limited to this quality. Since the beginning of the 2026-2027 season, Yassine has also scored two goals, provided one assist, and created five chances in the league. These figures accompany his rise under the Strasbourg colors.
This dominance in dribbles continues from his early outings of the season. After just two matchdays, the official Ligue 1 website had already placed him at the top of this ranking with eight successful dribbles out of fourteen attempted, including four against Marseille and four against Lens. In three additional matches, Gessime Yassine has added ten successful dribbles to his total while maintaining his position as number one.
