Brahim Díaz is once again available to Mohamed Ouahbi. Present this Monday at a press conference in Bloemfontein, the national coach confirmed that all players who traveled to South Africa are available to face Lesotho on Tuesday, with the exception of Nayef Aguerd.
“We only have one absence, that of Aguerd. Other than that, we have no absences. Everyone trained yesterday and everyone can be available,” said Mohamed Ouahbi.
This announcement directly concerns Brahim Díaz. The Real Madrid player missed the victory against Gabon (2-0) on Friday in Rabat due to a physical issue. After the match, Ouahbi explained that the attacking midfielder arrived at the gathering with discomfort and that an MRI had confirmed he could not participate in this first match of the 2027 AFCON qualifiers.
Having stayed with the Atlas Lions and present during the trip to Bloemfontein, Brahim Díaz has since resumed training. His availability is now confirmed, although this does not guarantee a starting position against Lesotho. The final decision will rest with Mohamed Ouahbi when composing his eleven.
