Brahim Díaz has been playing for several matches with significant muscle discomfort. According to information published this Monday by Diario AS, the Moroccan international continues to make himself available for Real Madrid despite the pain that currently limits his physical capabilities. This situation partly explains his low playing time in recent weeks.
The issue was already present before the match against Inter Milan in the Champions League on September 8. Despite this discomfort, Brahim insisted on being available and even started the match. The Moroccan then delivered a notable performance, capped off with an assist for Kylian Mbappé during the Madrid victory (2-1). Since then, his usage has significantly decreased: he has played only 22 minutes in the following three matches, coming on only against Elche and remaining on the bench against Rayo Vallecano and Atlético Madrid.
According to AS, the muscle discomfort has still not completely disappeared and disrupts his daily work. However, Brahim does not wish to stop and continues to make himself available for José Mourinho, who appreciates the efforts made by his player. The Moroccan international has thus totaled only 178 minutes in official competition since the start of the season, with one assist.
At this stage, no precise diagnosis or duration of unavailability has been communicated. Brahim Díaz is therefore not ruled out and remains available, but he is currently playing with persistent muscle discomfort that requires careful management of his playing time.
