Achraf Hakimi continues his recovery, but has not yet resumed collective training with Paris Saint-Germain. In a new medical update published this Friday, the Parisian club indicated that the Moroccan international is now doing individual work on the field as part of his recovery program.
This is a positive development for the Atlas Lions defender, who was forced to leave his teammates in the 39th minute last Sunday against Brest. PSG then announced a slight injury to his right thigh, requiring Hakimi to undergo treatment at the beginning of the week.
With just two days to go before the trip to face Olympique de Marseille, scheduled for Sunday, September 20 at 8:45 PM at the Vélodrome, his participation remains uncertain. Hakimi did not train with the group this Friday and is currently following an individualized program.
However, PSG has not ruled the Moroccan out for the Classique. His progress in the coming hours will be crucial before the Parisian staff makes a final decision. A potential return to group training would be an important indication of his chances to participate in the match against OM.
