Zakaria El Ouahdi is getting closer to Hamburg SV. According to the Hamburger Morgenpost, the Moroccan international underwent his medical examination on Sunday at Volkspark, while initial reports had indicated that his tests were scheduled for Monday.
The 24-year-old right-back is now set to sign his contract with HSV on Monday, August 31. Fábio Vieira, also expected as a new recruit for the German club, should also finalize his commitment during the day.
Hamburg has reportedly already reached an agreement with El Ouahdi as well as with KRC Genk for his transfer. If no issues were detected during the medical examinations, only the final formalities remain to be settled before his arrival in the Bundesliga is officially announced.
