The Real Betis has reportedly taken a new step in the Sofyan Amrabat case. According to the Turkish newspaper Sözcü, the Andalusian club has submitted an offer of €4 million to Fenerbahçe in order to permanently recruit the Moroccan international.
This proposal confirms Betis’s ongoing interest in a player who was already loaned to the club last season. Manuel Pellegrini is particularly keen to bring back Amrabat to provide more balance and solidity to his midfield. The Atlas Lion is also said to be favorable to a return to Spain.
However, the financial structure of the operation remains uncertain. Turkish media mention a request for a salary adjustment directed at Fenerbahçe, while journalist Ekrem Konur notes the possibility of staggered payments or a loan with an option to buy. A sale for only €4 million, accompanied by a long-term salary coverage, seems difficult to accept for the Turkish club.
At this stage, no agreement has been announced between the two clubs. Betis’s interest appears genuine, but the parties will still need to find a satisfactory arrangement to facilitate Amrabat’s return to Andalusia.
