Fulham has not given up on Abdelhamid Aït Boudlal. After a first proposal was rejected by Stade Rennais, the London club is preparing a new offer to convince the Breton leaders to release their Moroccan international defender.
The amount of this new offensive has not yet been disclosed. Rennes currently maintains a firm position and wishes to keep the 20-year-old player, who is under contract until June 2028. Nevertheless, Fulham seems determined to continue negotiations to secure his signature before the transfer window closes.
The desire of the Atlas Lion could also weigh in this matter. Aït Boudlal is reportedly very interested in the prospect of discovering the Premier League and remains open to a transfer to England.
While awaiting a possible advancement, the Moroccan remains an important element of the Rennes setup. He was a starter on Sunday against Paris Saint-Germain, playing the full match in the 2-2 draw achieved by Rennes. No agreement has been reached yet, but Fulham’s next proposal could concretely revive discussions.
