The Bavarian club announced that the Moroccan international completed his very first training session since arriving in Bavaria this Saturday. The 25-year-old attacking midfielder worked individually at the Säbener Straße training center, continuing his rehabilitation program after suffering a muscle injury during the 2026 World Cup.
This first session on the field marks an encouraging sign for the Lion of the Atlas. After a remarkable World Cup where he scored three goals for Morocco, he missed the quarter-final match against France due to this injury. Saibari is now continuing his recovery under the supervision of Bayern’s medical staff.
Due to this gradual return, the former PSV Eindhoven player did not participate in Bayern’s summer tour in Asia. The German club is prioritizing a careful recovery to allow him to regain his full capabilities before joining team training and vying for his first minutes under Vincent Kompany.
