The future of Couhaib Driouech at PSV Eindhoven could be written far from the Netherlands. According to information from journalist Rik Elfrink of Eindhovens Dagblad (ED), Genoa and Celta Vigo are closely monitoring the situation of the Moroccan international, whose playing time remains limited within the Dutch club.
Arriving at PSV in the summer of 2024 from Excelsior Rotterdam, the 24-year-old winger is struggling to establish himself as a regular starter. Competition on the wings has intensified in recent months, and during the latest preparation matches, Driouech has seen other players preferred by Peter Bosz. In this context, a departure during this summer transfer window appears to be a credible possibility.
According to ED, Celta Vigo has already contacted PSV to inquire about the situation of the Atlas Lion, while Genoa is also among the interested clubs. However, PSV’s management would prefer a permanent transfer rather than a loan and would demand at least 7 million euros to let their player go.
For his part, Couhaib Driouech primarily wishes to regain a more significant role. Having delivered notable performances when given the chance, particularly on the European stage, the Moroccan now aims to accumulate minutes to continue his development.
