PSV Eindhoven has identified Adam Aznou as its main target to strengthen the left-back position during this summer transfer window. The Dutch club is looking for a successor to Anass Salah-Eddine, who is returning to AS Roma after his loan and will not be retained by PSV.
The profile of the young Moroccan defender particularly appeals to the Eindhoven management. PSV sees him as a player capable of progressing quickly, but also as an interesting investment both sportingly and economically. However, discussions are still in their early stages and no agreement has been reached yet.
The Dutch club will also face competition from several European teams. Olympique de Marseille, Real Betis, and Getafe are also reportedly monitoring the situation of Adam Aznou, whose future could be decided in the coming weeks.
Trained at FC Barcelona before joining Bayern Munich, Aznou remains one of the most promising young Moroccan players in his position. However, he does not yet have a guaranteed place with the national team and will need to earn it through his performances at the club level. A transfer to a team capable of offering him regular playing time could therefore represent an important step in his development.
