Olympique de Marseille is already preparing for the winter transfer window and has marked a well-known name: Ismael Saibari. The Moroccan attacking midfielder from PSV Eindhoven has been appealing to Marseille’s management, Pablo Longoria and Medhi Benatia, for several months, who see him as an ideal profile to strengthen the offensive sector.
With convincing performances in the Eredivisie and the Champions League, Saibari (24 years old) has established himself as a key player for PSV. Powerful, creative, and hard-working, he perfectly embodies the philosophy advocated by Roberto De Zerbi.
According to journalist Ekrem Konur, OM is not alone in this pursuit: West Ham, Milan, Benfica, Aston Villa, Fulham, Brighton, and Leeds are also monitoring the Moroccan international, who is under contract until 2029.
However, the Dutch club does not seem willing to sell this winter, preferring to keep their player until the end of the season. But in Marseille, there is confidence: the sporting project and the presence of Benatia could tip the scales.
