MVV has welcomed Rayan Buifrahi, a reinforcement supported by the fans.
Keuken Kampioen Divisie club MVV has recently announced the arrival of Rayan Buifrahi, an 18-year-old young talent from Belgian club KV Oostende. This acquisition was made possible thanks to the financial contribution from the supporters’ club Veer Zien MVV.
Buifrahi, who signed a two-year contract with MVV with an option for an additional year, previously played in the youth teams of Anderlecht and Club Brugge. Last season, he played with the U21 team of KV Oostende, and his contract with them has now expired. It is worth mentioning that KV Oostende won the championship in the Reserve Pro League 1, the youth competition in Belgium.
In a statement, Buifrahi expressed his enthusiasm for this new challenge: “I was immediately impressed by the atmosphere within the club and in the stadium. MVV’s style of play, focused on combination, really appeals to me.”
Veer Zien MVV (VZM), the dedicated group of supporters involved for many years, played a significant financial role in the arrival of Buifrahi. Guido Vanderbroeck, spokesperson for VZM, emphasized their commitment by stating, “One of our goals as donors is to strengthen the team’s squad. We have previously contributed to the contract extension of Marko Kleinen, and we are delighted to financially support the arrival of Buifrahi.”
This collaboration between the supporters and the club once again demonstrates the passion and dedication of the MVV community in the development of the team. The arrival of Buifrahi is considered an important step in achieving the club’s goals.
With this new addition, MVV hopes to strengthen its position and continue its performances in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie competition.
