After his previous spell with Galatasaray, Hakim Ziyech could be set for a return to the Süper Lig for the second time in his career.

According to CNN Turk, Gençlerbirliği has opened talks to sign the talented Moroccan footballer. The recently promoted club is looking to strengthen its squad with the renowned player for the upcoming season.

The same source indicated that talks are currently underway with the player’s agent regarding the terms of a potential deal.

Several other media outlets and renowned journalists, such as Italy’s Alfredo Pedullà and Turkey’s Ekrem Konur, have also reported the news. It is further mentioned that both parties could include an option for an additional year in this potential deal.
