Panathinaikos asserted its dominance on the pitch of Panserraikos, winning decisively 0-3 during the eleventh round of the Greek Super League. This match was marked by Zaroury’s first goal in the league and his fourth in all competitions combined.

Despite a somewhat sluggish start to the match, Panathinaikos managed to gain momentum to secure a commanding victory, with Moroccan international winger Anass Zaroury leading the charge. The forward scored the first goal of the match in the 40th minute, providing a crucial psychological advantage to his team just before halftime, thus perfectly initiating their offensive festival.

Zaroury’s goal was the result of a beautiful collective action, showcasing the rising rhythm of the “Trèfle”. Launched down the flank, his Brazilian teammate Tetê made a remarkable individual effort before serving the Moroccan with a cross into the box. Well-positioned and composed, Anass Zaroury adjusted his shot in motion to propel the ball into the back of the net (0-1), marking his name on the scoreboard and rewarding his offensive impact.

This victory was further enhanced by two additional goals in the second half, notably Jedvaj’s incredible overhead kick (60′) and Bakasetas’s powerful shot (69′). By winning so convincingly, Panathinaikos (currently 6th with 18 points) achieved a crucial operation that confirms its ambitions for the season, even though it faces challenges against other heavyweights Olympiacos, PAOK, and AEK, who continue to widen the gap over their rivals.
