The game was marked by a strong team performance from Dunkerque, with Moroccan international Yacine Bammou playing a decisive role. Initially on the bench, the 33-year-old, who has seven caps for the Atlas Lions, came on in the 66th minute and sealed the match with a goal in stoppage time (90+7’).
With this win, USL Dunkerque advances to the Round of 16, where they will face LOSC, a Ligue 1 side featuring two Moroccan players: international Osame Sahraoui and young talent Ayyoub Bouaddi. Dunkerque will aim to continue their impressive cup run against this prestigious opponent.
