Wydad Casablanca was defeated 1-4 by Maghreb Fès in the 16th round of the Botola Pro at the Al-Arabi Zawali Stadium. Despite an early goal by Mohamed Rayhi in the 21st minute, the red card for Ismail Benktib in the 11th minute tilted the match in favor of the visitors. Maghreb Fès quickly equalized before halftime (39th minute) through Kabelo Seakanyeng, then took the lead in the second half with a goal from Mohamed El Badoui and a third from Hamid Ahaddad.

Towards the end of the match, Wydad players were unable to contain Maghreb Fès’s attacks, which sealed the victory in stoppage time with a second goal from Mohamed El Badoui. This painful defeat, the fourth of the season for Wydad, seriously complicates their title hopes, while Maghreb Fès secured a valuable win, moving up to 5th place in the standings, ahead of Wydad in 6th.
