Younes Ebnoutalib made an impression right from the first day of the Bundesliga. Starting at the forefront of Eintracht Frankfurt’s attack against Union Berlin, the German-Moroccan striker scored all three of his team’s goals in a spectacular 3-3 draw between the two sides.<\/p>\n
After going behind in the 3rd minute following Emmanuel Latte Lath’s opening goal, Frankfurt quickly turned the situation around thanks to Ebnoutalib. The 22-year-old first equalized in the 10th minute by capitalizing on a poorly cleared ball after a corner, before taking advantage of an opponent’s mistake to score his second just nine seconds after the restart.<\/p>\n
Ebnoutalib completed his hat-trick in the 67th minute with a superb volley from a pass by Elias Baum. He thus became the first Eintracht player to score three goals in a single Bundesliga match since Luka Jovi\u0107 in October 2018. The striker was then substituted for Ot\u00e1vio in the 85th minute.<\/p>\n
However, his performance was not enough to secure victory for Frankfurt. Leopold Querfeld reduced the deficit in the 79th minute, before Tim Skarke snatched an equalizer for Union Berlin in stoppage time.
