Vincent Kompany confirmed that Ismael Saibari is expected to get playing time on Saturday against Borussia Dortmund during the Franz Beckenbauer Supercup. The Bayern Munich coach, however, wants to gradually ease the Moroccan international back into action after his recent injury.<\/p>\n
“Ismael has a lot of power and speed, and he is a good finisher. He now needs to develop chemistry with his teammates. He will play tomorrow, but he is coming back from an injury. So we will see about his playing time. He is going to become an important player for us,” the Belgian coach stated at a press conference.<\/p>\n
Saibari has already participated in the last two preparation matches for Bayern. In his debut against RB Leipzig (3-1), he came on during the match and provided an assist to Jamal Musiala. Three days later against Heidenheim (4-2), the Moroccan replaced Wisdom Mike in the 34th minute before leaving the pitch in the 61st. These two appearances have allowed him to gradually regain his rhythm.<\/p>\n
