Anderlecht initially offered three million euros before increasing their bid to convince Union Touarga. Bentayeb’s profile is also well known to Antoine Sibierski, the current sporting director at Anderlecht, who was involved in his arrival at Troyes.<\/p>\n
The Moroccan has just come off a particularly successful season in France, scoring 20 goals and providing three assists in 31 matches across all competitions. With 18 goals in Ligue 2, he finished as the league’s top scorer and contributed to Troyes’ title and promotion.
