However, according to Foot Mercato, the situation took a sudden turn: Aguerd ultimately decided against joining Real Sociedad after discussions with the team’s coach, Pellegrino Matarazzo.<\/p>\n
Journalist Santi Aouna provided further details on platform X. The disagreement reportedly centered on the timeline for the Moroccan defender’s return. The Real Sociedad coach had asked him to be able to play eight full matches of 90 minutes starting in September.<\/p>\n
According to the same source, this scenario does not align with the medical protocol established for Aguerd following his long absence. His return must be gradual, starting with 30 minutes of play, then 60, before he can participate in a full match.<\/p>\n
The journalist also stated that the Moroccan defender would return to the pitch during the month of August, either under the colors of Olympique de Marseille or another club.
