Lecce had an option to buy estimated at four million euros but chose not to activate it, deeming the amount too high. However, a return under a different arrangement is not entirely ruled out.<\/p>\n<p>Frosinone knows Cheddira particularly well, as he wore their colors during the 2023-2024 season. The Moroccan striker scored seven goals in Serie A that season before going on several loans to Espanyol, Sassuolo, and then Lecce.<\/p>\n<p>Under contract with Napoli until June 2028, Cheddira may now prioritize a project that offers him more playing time.
