The new FIFA rankings, released this September, confirm the expected shifts among the world\u2019s top football nations. Spain, led by young star Lamine Yamal, claims the top spot, while Kylian Mbapp\u00e9\u2019s France returns to second place, pushing Lionel Messi\u2019s Argentina down to third.<\/p>\n\n

Morocco, under the guidance of Hoalid Regragui, continues its ascent, now ranked 11th\u2014a one-place improvement from the previous standings. The Atlas Lions are edging closer to the top 10 worldwide. In excellent form, they are currently on an impressive 14-game winning streak, approaching Spain\u2019s record of 15 consecutive victories.<\/p>\n\n

If Morocco aims to be seeded in Pot 1 for the 2026 World Cup, they will need to play high-level matches starting in October, as the November FIFA rankings will be used to determine the seedings.<\/p>\n\n
