The 27-year-old, who joined eight years ago after a trial, expressed his pride in continuing his journey with the Rangers: \u201cI am very grateful for this opportunity and really happy to be here. This is the only club I know and I\u2019m thrilled to be here,\u201d he said. Chair also reflected on his beginnings, marked by tough times: \u201cWhen I arrived, I was 19 years old and didn\u2019t know if I would make it. When they released me in Belgium, I didn\u2019t think I would become a professional footballer. QPR helped me, and I want to repay them for their support.\u201d<\/p>\n\n
The player also expressed his attachment to London and to QPR, which he now considers home: \u201cThis is my home now. I know I\u2019m from Belgium and I miss Antwerp, but I\u2019m now a Londoner, a West Londoner to be exact!\u201d Chair recently played his 250th match for QPR, an accomplishment that means a lot to him. \u201cIt\u2019s an honor to be among the club\u2019s legends in terms of appearances,\u201d he added.
