What Does the Future Hold for Brahim Díaz? The Moroccan Could Leave Real Madrid This Summer

With 50 appearances across all competitions this season, Brahim Díaz has been one of Carlo Ancelotti’s most used players. However, the Moroccan international’s record reveals a mixed reality: 6 goals, 7 assists… but very few starts. The Real Madrid attacking midfielder has mostly been used as a substitute, a role that no longer seems to suit him.

As Real Madrid prepares for a new era with a managerial change, Díaz is seeking assurances about his place in the squad. But with increasingly fierce competition – notably from Kylian Mbappé, Rodrygo, Vinícius Jr, and Arda Güler – his playing time doesn’t seem poised for improvement.

With just a few months left until the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, which Morocco will host, Brahim Díaz – who already has 10 caps and 8 goals for the Atlas Lions – needs more playing time to stay competitive. Therefore, a transfer is seriously being considered this summer. His value, estimated at 45 million euros by Transfermarkt, has attracted interest from several clubs.

Paris Saint-Germain, managed by Luis Enrique and where his compatriot Achraf Hakimi plays, is keen. Arsenal, under Mikel Arteta, has also marked his name, while AC Milan dreams of bringing back a player who made a strong impression during his time in Serie A.

Will Brahim Díaz’s future be away from Madrid? The answer is expected in the coming weeks, as a summer that could be a turning point in his career approaches.
