Union Saint-Gilloise confirmed their excellent form by defeating Dender 4-1 during the 28th matchday of the Pro League. This victory was marked by solid performances from Moroccan-born player Anouar Ait El Hadj and Moroccan international Sofiane Boufal, both of whom scored and provided assists in this match.

Less than 5 minutes later, in the 32nd minute, Anouar Ait El Hadj doubled the lead for his team, scoring a superb goal that solidified the team’s advantage. This strike marked his second goal of the season in the Pro League.

The match took a turn in the 53rd minute with a penalty converted by P. Akinpelu, allowing Union to take a comfortable lead of 3-0. In the 75th minute, Dender managed to reduce the gap with a goal from A. Scheidler, but Union Saint-Gilloise quickly restored order.

Sofiane Boufal, who started on the bench unlike his compatriot Anouar Ait El Hadj, came on in the 77th minute and soon

made his mark by providing a superb assist to Fuseini in the 86th minute for the final score of 4-1. Boufal continues to shine this season with 3 assists to his name.

Thus, Union Saint-Gilloise is continuing their successful run in the Pro League, strengthening their position at the top of the standings thanks to a convincing victory and the remarkable performances of their Moroccan players.
