The Moroccan U20 national team began their preparations in Santiago, Chile, on Sunday, September 21, just one week before the kickoff of the FIFA U20 World Cup (September 27 – October 19).
Freshly arrived in Chile, Mohamed Ouahbi’s players didn’t waste any time. They immediately took part in their first training session focused on recovery, with light exercises aimed at regaining their rhythm. The coaching staff plans to gradually intensify the training, placing greater emphasis on technical and tactical aspects.
As the current African runners-up, the Atlas Lion Cubs will face a particularly tough group. Placed in Group C, they will go up against Spain, Brazil, and Mexico—three world-renowned football powerhouses.
