The Spanish Football Federation has announced its intention to submit a joint bid for the 2035 World Cup.
Following the 2030 World Cup, which will be co-hosted by Morocco, Spain, and Portugal, the trio aims to continue their momentum and organize the 2035 Women’s World Cup.
“We want Spain to host the women’s World Cup in 2035, along with Portugal and Morocco,” said Rafael Louzan, president of the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF).
“There is no better way to bring visibility to women’s sports than by participating in the most important sporting event in the world, a football World Cup. We are currently working on it.”
This is further evidence of the excellent relationship between the three nations and especially Morocco’s remarkable progress in football’s soft power.
