The national team of Morocco continues its preparation for the two matches in the African qualifying round for the 2026 World Cup. The Lions of the Atlas will face Niger and Tanzania on March 21 and 25, respectively, with the goal of consolidating their position in their qualifying group.
On Wednesday, March 19, Walid Regragui’s men held their final training session at the Mohammed VI Football Complex before their scheduled departure to Oujda on Thursday. All summoned players participated in this session, which lasted about an hour and a half and was marked by tactical and physical exercises aimed at fine-tuning the final adjustments.
The coaching staff deems the group’s fitness level satisfactory, emphasizing the need for concentration and commitment in anticipation of these two important matches. Both matches against Niger and Tanzania will take place at the Honneur Sports Complex in Oujda, with kickoff set for 9:30 PM.
