Players called up by Hoalid Regragui for the Moroccan national team’s training camp have started arriving at the Mohammed VI Football Complex. On Monday, September 1st, the FRMF shared images of the Atlas Lions arriving in Maâmora as Morocco prepares for the upcoming 2026 World Cup qualifying matches.
Among those arriving, Brahim Diaz, Hamza Igamane, and Achraf Hakimi were spotted. Even before reaching the training site, Hakimi was filmed playing with some youngsters and signing autographs. The FRMF shared a welcome video for Neil El Aynaoui on its social media channels.
Already comfortably atop their group with five wins and a six-point lead over second-placed Tanzania, Morocco is nearly assured of qualification. The Atlas Lions approach their upcoming matches against Niger (September 5) and Zambia (September 8 in Rabat) aiming to extend their winning streak and prepare calmly for the rest of the campaign.
