The Atlas Lions completed their final training session on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at the Mohammed VI Football Complex. They will now head to Tangier, where they will face two friendly matches against Mozambique and then Uganda. This important trip will allow Hoalid Regragui to refine his choices and assess the fitness of his squad as the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations approaches, which will be held in Morocco.
This final session, led by the national coach, focused on several workshops centered around collective play. The coaching staff emphasized cohesion among players, coordination of movements, and fluidity of sequences. The team demonstrated a clear desire to build momentum.
The studious atmosphere and seriousness observed throughout the session reflect the concentration of a group aware of the significance of this period, despite the friendly nature of the two matches. Regragui aims to take advantage of this window to test new configurations and provide playing time to several players eager to stand out.
The first match, which will be played in front of a full house, is scheduled for Friday at 8:00 PM, featuring Morocco vs. Mozambique at the Grand Stadium of Tangier. This initial outing should allow the Atlas Lions to establish their bearings before the second match, set to take place a few days later against Uganda.
