As the kickoff for the 2025 FIFA Arab Cup approaches in Qatar, Tarik Sektioui has unveiled the list of 26 players called up. From the Mohammed VI Complex in Maâmora, the coach of the Atlas Lions A’ officially announced, this Friday, a squad that blends continuity with experienced reinforcements.
A Loyal Group to the CHAN… Strengthened by Key Players
Sektioui has retained the core that enabled him to win the 2025 CHAN, while integrating several players competing in Arab leagues.
Among the notable returns, Abderrazak Hamdallah stands out as a significant asset in the offensive sector. Morocco will also rely on the technical quality of Oussama Tannane, the experience of Achraf Bencharki, and the effectiveness of Tarik Tissoudali, who has been very prominent in the Emirates.
The idea is clear: to maintain the nucleus that has shone in recent months while adding profiles capable of making a difference in a competitive tournament.
A Competitive Group B
Placed in Group B, the Atlas Lions A’ will face:
- the winner of Comoros – Yemen (December 2, 15:00 – Khalifa International Stadium)
- the winner of Oman – Somalia (December 5, 17:30 – Education City Stadium)
- Saudi Arabia (December 8, 20:00 – Lusail Stadium)
A busy schedule that will allow for measuring the progress of the group, led by Mohamed Rabie Hrimat, the true leader of the midfield.
