Club Brugge achieved an important 3-1 victory against their rivals, Cercle Brugge, in one of the biggest derbies in Belgian football. Chamseddine Talbi, as usual, was decisive and played a key role in this victory.
Talbi delivered an excellent performance during the match, initiating an early attempt in the 12th minute that nearly opened the scoring, but his shot narrowly missed the post. He then showcased a great run down the right side, culminating in an accurate cross that Spanish striker Ferran Jutglà converted into a goal, completing his brace.
This assist brings Talbi’s total to five assists and seven goals in all competitions with Club Brugge this season. Thanks to this victory, his team maintains its second place in the Pro League standings, trailing Genk after 29 matches.
