Amine Adli’s future appears to be shaping up in England. Already pursued by West Ham and Wolves, the Moroccan international from Bayer Leverkusen is now also on Sunderland’s radar, another Premier League club.
According to journalist Julien Laurens (ESPN), Sunderland is about to finalize the signing of Granit Xhaka before making a move for Amine Adli, his former teammate at Leverkusen. The English club is prepared to compete with offers from Wolves, and Bayer does not oppose the departure of the Moroccan winger.
At 25 years old, Adli would favor a move to the Premier League. His value is estimated at around £23 million (approximately €27 million).
The player, developed at Toulouse FC, played 28 matches in all competitions last season with Leverkusen and currently has 15 caps with the Atlas Lions. A move to England could help him take the next step ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations.
