Sevilla FC is set to make a big move in the transfer market with the arrival of Sofyan Amrabat. The Moroccan midfielder, considered one of the surprises of this transfer deadline, is expected to join the Andalusian side in the coming hours.

According to several Turkish sources, the negotiations initiated yesterday have resulted in an agreement between the Spanish club and Fenerbahçe. The deal takes the form of a loan with an option to buy, allowing Sevilla to secure experienced reinforcements at a low cost.

Although the figures have not been disclosed, it is understood that the Andalusian club will cover half of Amrabat’s substantial salary. This arrangement was made easier by José Mourinho’s recent dismissal and Fenerbahçe’s elimination from the Champions League, which paved the way for his departure.

On his side, Amrabat has shown strong interest in this transfer. The Moroccan aims to regain his top form ahead of the upcoming World Cup.
