The Dutch derby between PSV Eindhoven and Ajax Amsterdam, known as “De Topper,” ended in a thrilling 2-2 draw this Sunday. For PSV, Moroccan international Ismael Saibari stood out by scoring one of the goals in this intense clash.
Ismael Saibari needed just seven minutes to get things underway. Receiving an excellent cross from Perišić, the Moroccan international rose perfectly to deliver a powerful and well-placed header, opening the scoring for PSV (1-0, 7′). However, Ajax quickly responded by equalizing from a penalty later in the first half. After a long battle, the home side seemed to regain control when Gasiorowski restored PSV’s lead (2-1) in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, the joy was short-lived. Facing determined Amsterdammers, that lead lasted only seven minutes before Ajax managed to snatch a 2-2 draw.
