Moroccan international Ismael Saibari once again shone for PSV Eindhoven, scoring a brace in their 4-1 victory over Heracles. The Moroccan attacking midfielder found the net in the 21st and 35th minutes, reaffirming his key role in his team’s impressive season.

With 11 goals and 11 assists in 28 Eredivisie matches, Saibari is enjoying one of the most accomplished campaigns of his young career. These statistics place him among the serious contenders for the Eredivisie Player of the Season award.

Thanks to this victory and Ajax Amsterdam’s unexpected 2-2 draw against Groningen, PSV is now in full control of its destiny. Despite leading the match, Ajax failed to hold on against an opponent reduced to ten men after a red card in the 90+3rd minute. In a dramatic twist, Groningen managed to equalize in the 90+9th minute.

PSV could be crowned champions as early as Sunday with a win over Sparta Rotterdam at the Sparta Stadion Het Kasteel. If that happens, Ismael Saibari would claim a second consecutive Eredivisie title, capping off an exceptional season.
