RS Berkane was forced to share the points with Olympique Safi on Thursday in a rescheduled match from the 17th round of the Botola Pro. The tense and high-energy encounter ended in a 2-2 draw.

The Oranges took the lead in the first half with a penalty converted by defender Issoufou Dayo in the 33rd minute. In the second half, Yassine Lebhiri doubled the lead in the 73rd minute, putting RSB in a strong position to secure all three points.

However, the Mesfiouis showed great resilience and refused to give up. Abdoulaye Diarra quickly reduced the deficit in the 76th minute before netting a stoppage-time equalizer (90+3), dashing Berkane’s hopes of victory.

Despite the draw, RS Berkane maintains its position as the leader of the Botola Pro standings with 40 points from 17 matches, showcasing their consistency in the competition. Meanwhile, Olympique Safi holds 7th place with 28 points from 18 games.
