On the Marseille side, Nayef Aguerd did not play and was not listed on the match sheet for Olympique de Marseille. Announced as uncertain before the match, the Moroccan defender was ultimately not selected by the Olympian staff for this trip to Paris.
However, Morocco was still represented on the pitch with the introduction of Bilal Nadir. The young Marseille midfielder came on during the match, thus making another appearance in a Classic, despite OM’s heavy defeat.
