According to the French outlet Foot Mercato, reliable sources suggest that Panathinaikos is determined to exercise the purchase option for the Moroccan international, who joined the club on loan at the start of the season from Ligue 1 side Olympique de Marseille.
Greek media report that the loan deal cost Panathinaikos approximately €500,000, while activating the purchase option would require an investment of around €11.5 million. However, before finalizing this operation, the club’s management must convince Ounahi to stay and commit to the team’s project.
