PSV Eindhoven thought they would leave Nijmegen with a victory on this 21st matchday of the Eredivisie, but the game took an unexpected turn. Leading 3-1 until the 90th minute, Peter Bosz’s men conceded two goals in stoppage time and had to settle for a 3-3 draw.
After Noa Lang opened the scoring, Sami Ouaissa equalized (1-1, 66’), but Ismael Saibari restored PSV’s lead in the 73rd minute with an unstoppable strike past Roefs, beautifully set up by Mauro Júnior. That goal seemed to put the visitors in control before the match dramatically shifted in the final moments. Substituted in the 77th minute, the Moroccan international could only watch from the bench as his team collapsed.
A frustrating result for PSV, who dropped two points after believing they had secured the win until the very last moments.
