Moroccan forward Nabil Zoubdi Touaizi is reportedly on the verge of joining Portuguese club Alverca, which was recently promoted to the top division. This move is part of the club’s busy summer transfer window, with several new signings announced recently.
The 24-year-old Moroccan player, who terminated his contract with Spanish second-division side Albacete this week, could head to Portugal on a free transfer, according to several Spanish and Portuguese newspapers.
Touaizi began his career in the Valencia before joining Manchester City, where he progressed through the youth categories from 2016 to 2020. After his time in England, he returned to Spain to play for Espanyol Barcelona and then for Atlético Madrid’s B before joining Albacete. On the international stage, Nabil shined with the Spain U-17 team, scoring five goals in six matches, before changing his national affiliation to represent Morocco at the U-20 level.
