Moroccan international Munir El Haddadi shone in the Copa del Rey, scoring a decisive goal in his team’s 2-1 victory over Cartagena. This win secured Leganés a spot in the Round of 16 of the competition.
The home side took an early lead in the 17th minute through Luis Muñoz. However, Munir El Haddadi quickly responded by equalizing in the 28th minute, capitalizing on a rebound from the opposing goalkeeper.
In the second half, Dani Raba scored the winning goal for the visitors, guaranteeing their progression to the next round. Munir, who delivered an impressive performance, was substituted in the 61st minute for Spanish striker Miguel de la Fuente.
