Wydad Casablanca has reportedly reached an agreement with Renaissance Berkane to secure the services of Moroccan goalkeeper Munir El Mohamedi for the FIFA Club World Cup scheduled this summer, according to information reported by Hesport. This transfer falls under FIFA’s special transfer window, designed to allow participating clubs to strengthen their squads for the prestigious tournament.

Wydad, eager to build a competitive team, is currently intensifying its efforts to attract other high-profile players. FIFA recently approved a special transfer window from June 1 to June 10, 2025, enabling players whose contracts expire on June 30 to join teams qualified for the tournament, which will feature 32 clubs in the United States.
