The Prince Moulay Abdellah Complex came alive this Friday, September 5! In front of thousands of fans, Morocco outclassed Niger, securing a 5-0 victory in a match they controlled from start to finish.

From the kickoff, the Atlas Lions took control of the game, pressing high and launching multiple attacks. Ismael Saibari opened the scoring in the 29th minute with a precise cross from Youssef Belammari, before doubling the lead in the 37th minute off a cross from Hakimi. A few minutes later, Belammari delivered an assist to Ayoub El Kaabi, who netted the third goal in the 50th minute.

Hamza Igamane, who came on in the 66th minute, scored with a header to make it 4-0 and later provided an assist to Ounahi, who capped off the rout with a powerful strike in the 84th minute.

Niger never managed to trouble Morocco and saw their only goal ruled out for offside in the 21st minute. With this resounding victory, Morocco qualifies for the World Cup for the third consecutive time, reaffirming its status among Africa’s football powerhouses.
