The Moroccan national team will continue its preparation for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations with two new friendly matches scheduled. The Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) announced that the Atlas Lions will face Mozambique on November 14 and then Uganda on November 18, at the Grand Stadium of Tangier, starting at 8:00 PM.
These two tests are part of the final adjustments for coach Hoalid Regragui’s men before the kickoff of the continental tournament, which Morocco will host from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026.
Placed in Group A of the competition, the Atlas Lions will encounter Comoros, Mali, and Zambia, three opponents with varied profiles that will require comprehensive preparation both physically and tactically.
These friendly matches will therefore provide the national coach with the opportunity to refine his choices, test certain combinations, and assess the form of several players before finalizing his list for the AFCON.
