As part of their preparations for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, which will take place in Morocco from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026, the national team will play two friendly matches in June.
The Atlas Lions will first face Tunisia on June 7 before taking on Benin on June 10. Currently ranked 41st in the FIFA rankings and 6th in Africa, Tunisia will provide a strong test for Hoalid Regragui’s squad. Meanwhile, Benin, ranked 91st in the world and 19th on the continent, will offer a different but equally important challenge in Morocco’s preparation.
As the top-ranked African team in the latest FIFA rankings, Morocco will approach these matches with the ambition of fine-tuning their tactics and strengthening team cohesion ahead of the continental tournament, where they will aim for a second title.
