FIFA published its latest update of the women’s national team world rankings on Thursday, March 6, 2025. The Moroccan team, led by Jorge Vilda, has made a notable progression by gaining one place and now occupies the 60th position in the world with a total of 1,427.72 points.
On the continental level, the Lionesses of the Atlas maintain their status as the third-best nation in Africa, behind Nigeria, which leads the African ranking in 36th position globally, and South Africa, which is ranked 54th in the world and second in Africa.
It is worth noting that in February, Morocco played two friendly matches: the first against Ghana, which they won 1-0, and another against Haiti, which ended in a 1-1 draw.
