Morocco’s national football has solidified its status as a rising power in the global landscape, achieving a significant milestone in the latest Transfermarkt valuation rankings.

According to data compiled on the “Most Valuable Nations” by combined market value of all players, Morocco has secured the 17th position worldwide. This impressive ranking places the Atlas Lions ahead of several traditional football powerhouses and underscores the exceptional talent pool currently representing the nation. Morocco’s combined market value stands at an estimated €875 million with masterclass players such as Hakimi (€80 million value) and Brahim Diaz (€40 million value).

The achievement is particularly notable for Moroccan football on the continental and regional stage. Among the top 20 most valuable nations in the world, Morocco is the highest-ranked team from both Africa and the Arabic countries. This commanding position highlights the substantial growth and investment in Moroccan football infrastructure and player development in recent years.

Morocco’s success in these rankings reflects the strong value and quality of its national team (12th in last FIFA world ranking) with an armada of key players competing at top European clubs. The valuation is a testament to the quality and depth of the current squad, reinforcing Morocco’s reputation as a dominant force within African football.

Securing the 17th spot globally is a major statement on the economic clout and international draw of Moroccan players. In the North African Kingdom where football is absolutely in the blood, this ranking guarantees a stellar future for the sport.
