Saudi club Al-Riyadh has officially announced the signing of Moroccan player Ahmed Khatir from Belgian club Beveren. The Morocco U20 international will strengthen the Saudi club’s defensive line.
The official announcement was made today on Al-Riyadh’s official page, which did not disclose the details of the transfer. Ahmed Khatir was trained at the Mohammed VI Academy before beginning his European journey with Belgian club SK Beveren.
“On the international stage, Ahmed Khatir progressed through the various age categories of the Moroccan national team. He notably won the bronze medal at the 2022 Mediterranean Games with the U18 team, the 2024 North African Championship, and the silver medal at the 2025 Africa Cup with the U20 team.
